Todd Fitz graduated from The University of Mt. Union in Alliance, Ohio in 1984 with a major in Business Administration and a minor in Psychology. While there, he played football and was president of the ATO Fraternity. Upon graduation he worked for Columbia Gas of Ohio as a Marketing representative and attended Capital University Law School’s evening program where he graduated in the top 23% of his class, was named to the Order of the Curia National Legal Fraternity and received the American Jurisprudence for his outstanding study in Contracts II. Todd also finished in the top 8% on the Ohio Bar examination.
Todd soon became a partner in the law firm of Magaziner, McGlade and Fitz, LLC where he handled wrongful death, personal injury, and criminal matters. While there, Todd jury tried both personal injury and criminal cases. Todd later became the Director of Legal Relations for The Longaberger Company where he oversaw the companies Self-Insured Workers’ Compensation program. Todd later worked in a small workers’ compensation firm representing injured workers both administratively and in court. Before joining Schiff & Associates, Todd established The Law Office of Todd Fitz, LLC with his practice limited to wrongful death, personal injury and workers’ compensation matters and simultaneously worked for Sheakley Uniservice representing employers throughout the state of Ohio on workers’ compensation matters.
